RJ45 is also used as connector in pro audio such as digital audio mixers. loose connections lead to nightmares. this idea has saved me when I was handling some important events. thank you very much sir.

But what if it isn't showing my TV visible in sound?

I've had some like those minus the internal storage. Work great but the camera off to the side is a real problem especially if your shots never comes into frame. Also the operation button placement causes the screws on the arms to eventually come off. Also, with these glasses you will think you rlaee recording and have to pray to God it's still on when it comes time that you act want to end the recording you thought you were doing because a lot of the time you will miss your valuable footage since the glasses were actually battery dead and not recording at all. There is no indicator to tell you if they are recording vs battery dead. Glasses are a fun novelty but without a indicator they can't be used as a serious device. It's one thing to have no indicator sand long battery but low and no indicator? Virtually useless.

It is now 2021. They still sell similar glasses now, but they all look like NERD glasses to me. Such thick frames compared to normal glasses. Just my thoughts for 2021.

worst idea, never put tape or anything in the rj45 jack that is not a rj45 plug if the cable gets pulled out and the tape remains in it can block conductors disabling the port completely use a paperclip, tape or rubberband on the outside of the cable to hold it in place instead or if you have the tools, replace the rj45 end or the entire cable
